Every wash costs: time, water and going out onto the roof or the field. On hard-to-reach installations and large systems, every less wash is a direct saving on labor costs.

SOLAR PROTECT

Silane-based impregnation for the protection of photovoltaic panels

It creates an invisible hydrophobic layer on clean glass. Water and dirt run off it more easily, so deposits build up more slowly and the interval between cleanings is longer.

How does M8 Solar Protect work?

Solar Protect bonds a silane layer a few molecules thick to clean, dry glass. This layer changes the behavior of water: instead of spreading into a film that dries and leaves dust, the water collects in droplets and runs off, taking some of the deposits with it. This means that the panel gets dirty more slowly, and rain partially washes it away.

Does not change the appearance or permeability of the glass

The silane layer is invisible and does not change the appearance of the glass or its light transmission. The product is ready to use and does not need to be diluted. The effect is easy to check: after bonding, pour a little water on the panel and see if the water collects in drops.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
  • Wash the panel and allow it to dry completely. Do not apply to wet glass.
  • Work on a cool panel, in the shade and without wind carrying dust.
  • Shake the container. Do not dilute.
  • Apply by spraying or with a soft cloth in a thin and even layer.
  • Spread immediately with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth while the layer is still damp. Do not allow the product to collect in drops.
  • Leave for at least 24 hours without rain.
  • When to renew protection: once a year, and always after a thorough cleaning with Solar Intense or Solar Intense Foam, as stronger products wear down the protective layer over time. Close the packaging immediately after use, as an open bottle loses its properties more quickly.
